London Buses route 201 is a Transport for London contracted bus route in London, England. Running between Morden and Herne Hill stations, it is operated by Abellio London. ==History== Route 201 commenced operating on 17 June 1995 between Mitcham Cricket Green and Tulse Hill station via Streatham replacing part of route 200. It was operated by London General's Merton garage. Upon being re-tendered, the route passed to Mitcham Belle on 17 June 2000. It was extended at its northern end from to Herne Hill station on 9 June 2001, and at its southern end to Morden station on 1 December 2001. Route 201 was included in the 27 August 2004 sale of the business to Centra.〔(Tfl announces new entrant to London bus market ) Transport for London 27 August 2004〕 When Centra ceased, the route passed to East Thames Buses' Mandela Way garage on 20 May 2006.
